Rock I wasnt talking about your post it was helpful. I just dont understand why people have to bash someone like that. if you dont like the post or get offended by it dont comment on it. Im not trying to piss anyone off thats just the way I feel. I had to different guys get ugly with me on here about my motor problems and it really pissed me off that someone would be an ass to someone by asking for info.

what is the deal with some people on this site. I thought that the whole idea of asking a question was to get helpful info. If someone asks a question that you dont no a lot about then just dont answer it. Reading stuff like this just pisses me off. I asked a few questions about my motor that I was having problems with and several people said it was normal. Quess what, it locked up so it wasnt normal. I dont ask questions on here anymore because I have found that most of the answers are dumber than the question.

I suppose you are also directing this to me and I really don't give a Shit. And here is the DEAL! I have personally spent countless hours researching any and ALL applications I am considering on my own Buggy(s) and will even go out of my way to research for others. That Includes any and all links some one gives me on the subject to help me learn. Based on my own Impircal data I will then pass my knowledge to the next guy willing to spend some time to learn on his own and not expect someone else to do the research for him. Thats the way I percieved the responce of the original poster to the link offering. Bottom line is why is his time more Important than mine! My post count here is not because I want to here myself talk!

i feel the same way i put the link on for the info someone here give it to me when a asked about a turbo. and it pissed me off. thats why i have not said anything I tried to help him and in 11 mins, he wants someone to put it on for him bc he just dont have time to read the info. READ DUDEthere is alot of guys on there running turbos on bone stock 1600 even with who know how many miles

rock that was good info i was even looking a bike turbos something around 1000cc to 1200cc there rev up to 13k so on a 1600 going to 5k i would think it would work out great. but im going watercooled now but if my motor does not sell by next summer you never know  8) btw your alot better guy then most guys on here say your info is always good and on point you have helped me a few times and thank you for that :D  :D

kevin i also feel the same way as you do but i think Odyknuck was right with every thing that was said something take info and reading its not just go for it or no dont type of ?
but it also pisses me off when someone just blast someone (which Odyknuck did not do) or they just start talking about something else. somewhat like this just read my turbo ? on here i know i pissed alot of guys off but i asked a ? about turbo and maybe 3 or 4 post out of 3 pages was anything about a turbo set up

I have used a older IHI subi turbo on a 1600 single port blow through. You can cut your header off get your turbo mounted oil lines plumbed and the compressor piped to your carb (solex 30 pict). You can use the stock fuel pump if plumb boost psi in the small hole in the bottom of the pump. Then you may need to go up i size or two on the main jet or make some sort of modulator ring. this setup will double your power but its not really reliable. Or you can use a electric fuel pump with at least 14 psi and reg with a boost reference port. But again carb turbo and off road dont mix
