so im getting ready to put bags on my buggy and i have seen the bags run in a angle a straight up and down . so my question is what is the better way on mounting them .
thanks for any help and pics would be great too !
the specs on my setup are
3800 psi bags
2x3 sawyer arms
double shocks

hmmmm...... anybody ? started tearing my buggy apart to get the winter mods done and would hate to guess on this !

thanks dave for that link ! ill hunt the steal down . im going to pm mike and ask him how it held up on jimmies buggy this year since he had some time on it . i would think with no bushings it would start to get wear thru the pivot .

mine are mounted almost straight up and about on center of the trailing arms. top mount is 1.5 square stock running across buggy and plated in on each end. not greatest looking but you cant see due to gas tank location. my bags are ones i swiped out of the spares bin. they are for tag axles on our dump trucks. i still have tosion bars. they were weak before i put the 3x3 arms on. i run about 8 psi with just me and works great. got to bounce to bout 10 or 12 if old lady with me. been runnin it 2 years now and rides like a caddy. im sure its not the best setup but works well. plus im from the do more with less and screw looks i want function schools

I USED MAD MIKES DESIGN ON A NEW SS I BUILDING AND TILTED THE BAGS FORWARD QUITE A BIT.I HAD TO SO THE BAGS WOULB BE SQUARE WHEN THE ARM IS AT THE UPPER MOST TRAVEL POSITION.IT ALL LOOKS GOOD AND TRAVELS SQUARE.IL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS IN THE WOODS IN A MONTH OR SO :D :D
