Are you looking for a $1000 1600 or $1100 1915 bottom of the line long block engine. Lots of online VW shops selling these. Problem is most of these need almost what you spent on them to make them right.
DUBclub was right when he asked what is your budget?

Ive got a 1641 thats turn key. It belongs to a freind of mine. Its a very clean motor.

nah the most im lookin got spend on a stock engine is about 300 or so

They are getting so scarce that a stock engine running on 3 cylinders would probably go for $500. Or any thing that runs. The best blocks to build were from 72-74.
