He is on the phone with me right now and he wanted me to up date you all. At first he thought they were going to amputate his index and middle finger and half of his ring finger but while he was telling me this the doctor came in and told him that they where not going to amputate tomorrow they are just going to clean it up and work on it again before they do any amputation.They just brought him a hot cup of coke and he said ill call you back in a minute im going after ice,i ask if he was suppose to be up and he said i am now they cant keep me down. Ive been joking with him i told him theirs better ways to keep from having to where a wedding ring than that and he said thats a good one. And he told me to keep my fingers crossed than he said that was a bad joke. He talking about being at D&K to help out with the hill climb.

I just got home from the hospital and Mark is doing good the doctor told him he was going to be there for
2 1/2 weeks he told the doctor to make sure he was done so he could come to D&K lol.Still not sure how many fingers he is going to lose yet but hes hoping just two.Been a long day and a long drive so im going to bed.

I talked to Mark yesterday and he said his next surgery is Monday he also told me they were going to go ahead and take his middle finger and ring finger they gave him a 20% chance to keep his index finger.

Thats sad to hear. Mark we are praying for u and hope the best. klutz and kliner is the top hand surgen in the world and they located in louisville KY>They reconstructed my wrist and they saved my hand. I think it would be worth to have and a opionion from them.

Me , Koko and my youngest got to sit with Mark for a couple hours at Good Samaritan UK hospital yesterday. As usual, he was in VERY good spirits. Givivng the nurse a hard time and joking around with us. He is one strong spirited man, I can tell you that. To look at his injury you would wonder how he could even stand it. I would be pissed off at the world, but to talk to Mark you would not know anything was wrong.

I think the hardest part for him is gonna be the 2-3 more weeks he is gonna have to stay in the hospital. He is always a ball of energy, and he's got nothin to do in there except watch movies. So if anybody wants to send him something to make his stay any better, send him a dvd .

He's gonna move back to other UK hospital for Mondays surgery. Will post his new room number when he knows what it'll be.

(Corey, I told him about Kleinert Kutz hand center like you just suggested. They are some badass hand surgeons. He said he'd like to have them take a look at it. )

Larry im with you i dont think i could be in the same mood that Mark is.But i sure do idealize him for his spirit.I bet he was happy to see you all.

Me & Cee-Cee got to see Mark today. You all are right about his spirit ~ it's unbelievable, don't know how he does it. I'm with you Pipedope, I to admire him for that spirit. I do hope he's able to make it to D & K it will make an awesome event even better ! Our prayers are with you Mark.

Thanks for all you did If you get time fixing the yellow buggy would be great. Still at Good Samaritan Hospital 512 will be staying here not going back to UK. Surgery today 2:15.

Mark wanted me to update you guys right now and he told me they did take 3 fingers off today hes still in good spirit and they might let him out tomorrow. lets hope so. Guys i really really idealize this man hes something else.
