I just got a pair of fox 12" travel shocksfor the rear of my woodsbuggy. I have a 4 seat Warrior chassis on 100" wheelbase we mainly ride at Haspin Acres, trails and climbing hills.
I want to know what valving I should run(it currently has (30/70 valving) and also how much pressure should I be running(they currently need charged with nitrogen)?
Thanks
Kenric

You need to know the weight of the rear of the buggy and what arms you are using to determine A) what springs to use. and B) what the valving will be based on what springs you use. The Valving works against the selected spring rate.

Are they air shocks or coil over. if they are air shocks are you going to run them with a torsion or no torsion.
how much does the rear of the buggy weight. where about are you located. We ride at haspin and i am running sway a way air shocks on my buggy with no torsions and I have not had any trouble with mine. i can try and help you get it adjusted if you want.

I am located in Monroe Indiana, about 20 miles south of Ft Wayne.
The shocks do not have any springs. My rear arms are stock length and I am running torsion bars. I need to check my rear weight.
Thanks
Kenric

I like my 60/40 valving, and around 200lbs of nitrogen.

i thought we were talking about coil-overs too! My woods buggy has race runner air shocks (no tortion bars) and I have about 225lbs of nitrogen on them. I dont remember the valving in them.
