Where i live the "Home depot" is 35 miles away an i ant never seen no one seeking day work there? How far would i have to go to find that? Given these realities it would be real nice just to pic up the phone an call a broker or clearing house for day labor and get it done!

As it is I have to bribe an threaten my kids to work just to get half ash results that is more exshausting then doing it my ownself! maybe i should just invest in power equiptment

Have you tried hitting them?
Thats about how far home depot is away from me too. Mexican grocery stores are an excellent place to find day laborers. Surely there is a strip mall in your town with a little hole in the wall mexi-grocer?
I've been kinda considering a small business of my own. Mainly rebuilding alternators and starters but also doing some light machine work and maybe have a magnaflux machine. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get quality work done around here. I've never heard of a halfway decent machine shop not making a decent living for the owner.
