Has any one shortened a morse cable. If so how did you do it?

Ody call around to your local dirt bike shops. I had one custom made for me or they will shorten the one you got. Cost me around 15.00 for a 8 foot one with cable and all.

Steve,Try boat shops they use them alot. I've never seen any one shorten them more than an inch or two by rethreading them,I'm sure you need to shorten yours more than that or you would of done that all ready.

Yea, I need to shorten it aprox. 7". I'm sure I can do it however its would be good to know if its been tryed before and if its worth the hassle just to save 40 bucks.
