We are starting to talk about 2014 and wanted to get some input on the different types of events we can have next year. Some will be official WoodsBuggy events, other will be off road park events.

Here are some thoughts -

Traditional Hill Climb Competition - Class A, B and C with a qualifying hill

King of the Hill - Pick a few hills and who ever climbs the most hills wins

Last man standing
- Keep going hill to hill and if you do not make it you are out.

Poker Run - Pick 5 interesting location (with hills or other challenges) around the park ride for the day collecting cards to make a poker had.

Just a meet and Greet
- Every meet at a park for the weekend and ride at will

I would like to know your thoughts on these events or any other event ideas you have.

LETS DO ALL OF THEM!!!!!!! :D :D :D I would like to throw one more in ,how about a timed obstacle course maybe a two or three minute run and try to keep the speed to a safe manner with more driving then using the power of your buggy.maybe then we could get more participation

they all sound like a blast, but i do like the Idea of maybe a timed trail course.
that way it would let us with smaller engines compete as well.

a poker run is a lot of fun for every one . and you ain't beating up your buggy . make it a two day event poker run one day and a hill climb or a road coarse the next day.

I really liked the poker run at rush it was a great event. A two day weekend would be a good way to get a good ride in and then beat on the buggy. Chad

I like all of them too. Especially king of the hill competitions. Just have to get my new motor built before I can do any of them.

all our buggies have different characteristics. That Kentucky guy that smoked the Biscuit July 4th. Put him in a washed out hill and he's done.

I like all of them also, although to me the king of the hill and last man standing seem basically the same, so maybe just pick one of those

Some good ideas here... We will start looking at Parks and try to match the event to the Park...
