I thinking about buying a gopro hero3 white. The one I'm looking at is the outdoors one has a few more mounts and the wifi backpack. Was wanting to know if anyone else has one and how they like it along with is there anything I should plan on buy with it besides the roll bar mount?

I just got the old 960 and love it. Buy both the roll bar mounts and buy extra stick on mounts. Not sure if the 3 comes with a non waterproof backing but that helps with the sound. Get a nice bag to put all the stuff in or you WILL lose stuff. Can't wait to see the bids.

My dad bought me a Gopro several years ago. I need to mount it to the buggy but so far all I've used it for us underwater snorkeling trips in the Carribean. Works awesome for that so I can't wait to get some buggy videos. It's amazing what such a small camera will do.

Hpfreak you just have to keep poking the Honda guys don't you. I guess I will have to post some video from Chattanooga so you can hear what a Honda sounds like. My Hero 2 took a crap but they are going to replace it.

Beside I think you have the market cornered on videos with motor noises or was that voice over.

Ive got the hero3 silver edition and it takes a little better video than the two in my book. The only things i had to buy with mine was the micro SD card and the roll bar mount.

Only thing I dont like on these vids is everything looks flat. We have had a few guys film from on the buggy, and it just does no justice at all! But short of a film crew/ camera man following us around I think it is as good as it going to get.

Soon. Adapter, computer, harness, headers, fuel fittings, power steering pump and resevoir should be here this week. Engine should be here by Wednesday if all goes well. Give me a couple weeks and I'll post video. lol

I said that about 5 years ago too and it just started this fall!

i got a hd2 right before the 3 came out, wish i had waited and got the 3 black edition, if i were going to get one it would either be the silver or black edition due to the wifi being built in and the MP of the camerea is twice what the white edition is, plus having the remote and or phone app makes it much easier operate from the drivers seat already buckeled in and ready to go
