I think this was asked a couple weeks ago and the response was something like, he built it before he knew of any websites or had any experience with buggies. He probably thought it was a area of the frame with enough room to fit it and add some weight to the front. I wouldn't be a big fan of long fuel lines but I bet filling up is easy. Nice looking rail.

A bunch of guys run there tanks up front around here. Good weight bias to a turbo wheel happy buggy.
