Now everyone knows what a good job Cece and MickeyMouse do.... I hate it that the payout was screwed up....there is no excuse and it should not be taken lightly and joked about.,,,but I am just a buggyless sideliner.

x2..dan and cece are priceless at the bama events

me and joe wasnt able to make it cuz of last minute technical difficulties, but still woulda love to go..i completely understand the timer issue, they have always been a bitch and the main down fall of ALL the events. the event in bama was plagued with hold ups (timers and tougher than expected hills)..but we got it done and at the end of the day it was worth it..we've had practice at putting on these events and still aint got it rite. im sure these guys will identify the problems and address them..i mean, does everybody open a dirty book and slam it shut cuz its got a fat bitch under the cover??? nope, you look forward to whats on the next page..hope to see everyone at the next one

Thanks to everyone that helped make this event happen. I for one had a great wknd. It sucks that things were suck a clusterf@*%. Like said before this was the first event here of any kind! The village people and those here on this sight tried hard to put on an event and should not be bashed for there hard work. They would surely listen to constructive critisism. I don't think they expected the MASSIVE turnout they got. A lot was learned and the next event will be smoother i'm sure.

by major turnout, we're talking about 2500 people, from what I hear. No one can prepare for that when it is completely unexpected.

My name is Scott ,I represent the Village OHV Club.It was nice meeting you guys.We tried our best to make this event go well.I apologise to those that it wasn't enough for.It was the first event we ever had.I like to think we (and the woodsbuggy guys) learned a lot from it.Hopefully we can make better ,if you want to do it again.

I had a blast even though I didn't compete in the hill climb. Seen a lot of old friends and met a lot of new, and in my opinion that's what it's all about. There was a ton of hard work put in by these fella's that set it up, and it was the first one they have ever ran. Shit happens, chalk it up as a learning experience, all the bitching in the world will not undo time.

Speaking from experience, I know what its like to put on an event and your help not hold up to par. All you can do is suck it up and do all you can to make it happen. I never had any intention to drive 14 hours to work my ass off but thats what it took. I enjoy having these events at any cost to me, hell its cost me thousands so far and will cost me thousands more but I will continue to go. Yes the payout was wrong but to me there is no dollar figure worth a good freindship. I would have no problem sending my money back for a recount just for the simple fact that im not in it for the money. we all need to just work together to make these better. Getting the bashed over and over only makes me want to make it better so lets just look at the big picture and move on. :)

im just curious is their a max amount that is allowed to be in the comp cause if their was 2500 people their  it would have been crazy if 100 wanted in the comp lol but it looked like a good one with that kind of turnout problems happen the money situation sucks but learn from it and move on everyone thats in charge print off the rules and payout and laminate it and keep it one you so if theirs any questions in a event you got it their to look at

I hope nobody gets mad at me, but in all fairness, if anybody accidentally over paid me for a part or anything else, I would immediately hand the overpayment back.
It's just the way I was taught by my parents.

This was the worst hillclimb we have ever been to!!! To start it off they had the hills set up off the main road going into the place which was barely wide enough to pass 2 trucks!! Then the timers wouldn't work but Kevin from Alabama brought a set but when they set them up they moved them forward 20 yards but didn't rerun any of they buggys which put the first half of buggys down into lower class so they had to buy up to get into the class that they always qualify in!?!?! So after like 9 hours and 30 buggys got done they screwed the payouts up paying 50% of the total money to first place A class which was over 900$!?!?!? 1st place B class only got 113$ and only gave one guy in C class the prize money of 14$ I'm from Ky and I know that ain't right !!!! We will never pull a buggy to Wellsville Ohio for an event like this EVER AGAIN!!

On top of all this we gotten pulled over 5 times!! Ohio cops are pricks!?! On a good note we had a cool camp site

damn...thats heavy!
