So today i get home from work about 530-6 pm, phone rings. Its my cousin, apparently his friends z400 will not start. blah blah blah..I told him if he wanted it fixed he better get here quick because i wasnt gonna be in the garage all night. Not even 10min later they pull in...lol They live 30min away, apparently they knew i would say yes before i did...I tear the 4wheeler down, remove the cams, timing chain and so on. Come to find out the timing is jacked...the exhaust valves were loose as a well you know what...lol and intakes tight as hell...So I shim the valves until I was satisfied with the clearances, set the timing correctly and reassembled. Bike fired up soon as i touched the button. Normally I would charge someone about $100 or more for this 2hrs of work..But seeing how happy that kid who just paid a bunch of money for something that wouldnt start when he got it home was, I helped them load it back up and off they went not a word said about cost of the job...... :D Sometimes I guess, seeing someone grin from ear to ear when an engine fires is payment enough. :D Just thought I would share my good deed for the day. lol

I'm a true believer in karma. You get what you give, whether it's bad or good.

It is good to know that their are still people like that in the world today. Times have changes. Use to, you could take a man for his word and a simple handshake was gospel. This day and time, alot of us have to worry about people taking advantage, and its hard to trust people because one has been ripped off so many times. Awesome job Jayrod! Like many others, I believe in karma as well. :)

Paying it foward is a good thing. What goes around comes around. I try and help who I can most of the time. There are exceptions to the rule however.

this post has helped me alot. My dirtbike got stolen out of my garage last weekend and all Ive been thinking about since is how tightly my hans would fit around that neck if i ever found out who did it. but now thanks to all this karma talk I truely believe im going to turn on the news and find out someone wrecked and snapped there neck on a ktm 250. thanks for the words of wisdom.
