nothing good is happening at oak tree. down riding this weekend and sat morning when i pulled in some dummy drove threw the guard shack. and then sat evening most likely the same guy burned down 6 campers.also seen one that was pushed over a hill side and another that was just drivin into and smashed into peices. so if you have any thing that has not been stolen or a camper that is worth anything i would get it out of there. also talked to perry and he told me that a india based company bought oak tree and only wanted the gas and oil rights and thought we might get to camp there next year. i have heard a lot of different storys about what is gonna happen there so will have to wait and see next year.

I'm glad i got all of my stuff out of there last month. i can see Dave retaliating with his bulldozer and scraping all of our campers Maybe now, he will know how it feels to have your stuff burnt and pillaged, just like everytime we went to camp, our stuff was stolen and broken into. I guess what comes around goes around.

Im willing to bet that dave had insurance on that shack and drove through it himself

Don't think it was Dave that did it, something with Mickey Thompson Baja claws did. I pulled my buddy's camper home tonight because 3 of the 7 that were burnt were by his Including his brother's camper. Two campers toward top of power lines on left one on right and one toward the scrap yard. The other 3 were by the electric sites, I would definitely get your stuff out of there maybe sooner than next weekend if you can.

Most of us really don't care. He sold the land and is closing on 12/30/11. Plus, we all think it is odd that all our campers have been ransacked and burnt but for some odd reason the office building was never touched. Many rumors have it that the culprits were his nephews.
