Bill, thanks for the feedback, the simple truth is we have a automated system that feeds active items to ebay every 30 days. We never usually expect an item to be more then 4 or 5 days BUT when suppliers run out then we are in trouble. With 3000 items on ebay it is very challenging to keep everything perfectly updated with inventory levels since we have ebay, our website, phone orders and amazon all trying to grab the same inventory. Thanks again for the feedbay

Chad

100% support you on this statement. If you have never owned or operated an internet business, YOU HAVE NO IDEA how hard it is to actually keep inventory up to date when you have thousands upon thousands of listings. We do amazon, ebay, and a seasonal store for halloween. Between incorrect listings, broken items, returns, manufactured defects, etc., Inventory gets ROUGH, and what the person that you wrote this response for said is a typical response from buyers when you run out of stock. but honestly not to be a dick, you really have to be in internet sales to see how tough it actually is. We've also taken our whole inventory from our warehouse to our seasonal store (similar to you and lansing), and I will say that it is a DISASTER. We are one of the largest internet halloween costume and novelty sellers on ebay (and once amazon), and work out of crappy old factory turned warehouse, appletree may be the same deal? Things you don't realize!
You get negative feedback, you get unhappy customers, you get cases filed, paypal lock outs, ebay lock outs, listings deleted (try getting over 10,000 listings deleted at once), etc. etc. etc. but you try your hardest to get to your customers and make them happy. It's called being in business. Good luck guys and welcome to the site!

sorry for the rant, but I can relate, thought I'd share my views.

Well Said... I have to add that it says a lot about a company and their desire to take care of the customer when they come on here and explain to everyone what is going on..

Welcome..

My original post to this thread was ignorant minded and based on assumption. I now retract that thought

Appletree are very good people. I try to make it to the silverlake dune as much as possible. So since you can walk to their shop it make things pretty easy. Chad has always treated our group more than fair I would say. Even the internet orders have been good. He has even let us use his shop for repair and not many places (which I dont blame them) would do that. And who doesn't use the appletree book for torque spec/charts than a beetle manual lol.
P.S. I'll advertise your shop on my back if ya want give a free shirt away lol.

You can almost count on it being latest rage if it doesn't say. There are alot of generic parts sold by latest rage, empi, and bugpack.

had a problem with new cvs and new axles having too much play in them....sent them back to appletree and they were supposed to test fit me a new set....when i finnally got them back they had never been out of the box....they are a little better but still sloppy.....its like the spline on the axle is too small to fit tight inside the cv cage and its jerky!
