Does anyone use Appletree 3X3 trailing arms on their woods buggy. I was wondering if they will withstand the punishment. http://www.appletreeauto.com/dom-traili ... r-652.html

If not. Where can I get a good set of 3X3 trailing arms. I would like to get a set that is straight. The right wheel leans out on the last two sets of 3X3's I have had.

them appletree arms are some good arms,we copied there arms and build the 2 x 3 s

Are you sure the Torsion is not bent or the pivot point is welded on correctly? Just seems odd that after 2 sets the same thing occured.

This is the the type of Trailing arms I have that the wheel leans out. Has anyone on here used this type of Trailing Arms.

There doesn't look like anything is Bent. Looks like a stock VW tortion housing. When I put the arms on They seem to bolt up without any problem. The arms that was on before was worse that the ones I have on now. This is an older Beeline Frame. I was told that the buggy was built by Phil.

well, thats how its suppost to look. most guys build that camber into their arms to help with the cv angle.

i am running these same arms. i have beat them pretty hard and have held up great. one did get a very small crack early this year but believe it was stressed from a roll over. my wheels sit straight and true. i also have air bags mounted on mine for the rear suspension

The left wheel is straight. The right one leans. It would not bother me. But it is wearing my tire out on the out side. Is there any way to fix the right arm. Should I just get a new set and start over.

on mine u can loosen the bolts on spring plate and either let it fall or raise it up i cant remeber

Have you checked your pivot bushing?

Everything is new. The wheel was leaning out when I put it on.

I am going to change the Trailing arms on my 4 seater. When I do I think I will put the old one from the 4 seater on this bugggy. I know the old ones on the 4 seater are straight. If the wheel still leans out then I will know that it is the buggy and not the arms.
