Well as you all know the Hatfeild & McCoy trail system does not allow off road vehicles.well this may change this year,or by spring of next.they have leased part of ivy branch and are trying to get the rest of it as well.they are going to open it up to buggies and 4x4's and also include the waterways little coal river trail head as well.this may happen as early as September 2012.they are having a meeting feb.2,and I have been invited to go speak for buggy riders and to try and get some regulations and requirements setup.if we can get in under the state public policy laws they have now then they can modify existing rules to accept us,if not then their lawyers and legal team will go over what we need to have and get the ball rolling to get it before legislation this fall to be put into law after they meet in Jan.2013,then it will be after April 1 2013 before it will be in effect.I have tried before but I think they see the need for a place for all of us to ride and this is a great place to do it,and if we don't get in now we probably never will.there will be rules of course but they are going to try and at least it's a start.so I will know more after the 2nd.Chad
