if you have a 1915 that 6 rib should hold up good. right? cause tim at southern buggys told me a 3 rib would work good with a 1915 so a 6 should be even better, if i was you and havin that kind of trouble id call chuck and see what he says (606)-877-4621 or (606)-224-9921

yeah, brad, get ahold of Brian. I know he still wants to get that 6 rib case off of you too. I still need a superdiff as well, just been cheap lately.. Brian will build it while you stand there and wait, too.

Just exactly, what parts are you breaking in your 6 ribs? A 6 rib with a 4 spider is very tough, also you might need a lightened flywheel and different type clutch disk.

have lightend flywheel..running kennedy stage 2 pressure plate and was running a 4 puck..i no 4 puck's are harsh and figurd that was the prob.but last trans blew with stock disc...as far as parts usually 1st gear

your shifter might not be letting it go all the way in 1st gear and if not it will most deffinently break
usually spider gears are first to go on a stock 6 rib if it was in good shape to start with

Well, if your blowing 1st gear and the gear was correctly positioned, inside the transmission on the shifting fork, no loose bearings etc, then your looking at $1000 for weedle 1st and second gear. Use a pro like Eric Debord to make it right.
I think, he gets $175 labor plus parts and there will be no question that it was done right.
