Post subject:  WTB 2 speed powerglide case or whole
I have busted my case on my 2 speed powerglide on my buggy...."To much NITROUS"Im not having much luck finding anyone around here with a trans or bare case. I have a built 2 speed so im going to be swapping all my internal into another case. If anyone has one or knows were i could possibly get one it would be appreciated. Even better if its close to London,ky. Thanks guys

if you gonna it i would go ahead and pony up (cry once) and get one of these

short of that check with some of the local drag and dirt track racers or search racing junk, ebay and craigslist for a good used case but who knows what condition or how it will last

I already have one of these in like 3 pieces....If i had 15,000.00 i would just step up to a mendeola!!!

Thanks darrel! Let me get back with you because i have a friend who has a TCI Super streetfighter powerglide and he told me i could have it. Says he will have it out next week so let me see what he does!

dam rodg, you must be hell on parts :lol:

that is what tim cameron and most of those guys use that have a pg, those cases are pretty much supposed to be bullet proof and are used in drag cars with over 1000hp

are you sure its mounted well and that chassis flex is not causing it to break?

I actually sheared a axle which caused my chain and sprocket to fold up on the trans and it busted it. Still yet Nitrous and a set of studded 40" pitbulls would be hard on anything. Im still working on a upgrade for my stub axles and a nice set of chain gards so this don't happen again.

I have a complete glide with trans brake and a brand new 9" convertor. Trans has shield over top of the case and a deep aluminum pan. Also have a moroso trans cooler I will throw in. $750 obo. May be interested in trading for a NEW Vw engine case without head stud holes

I have no clue....I don't video but im sure someone has. There is a picture of it on this site. If you search the forum for chain drive, scroll down until you see a blue buggy from KY.

i got 1, im in whitesburg. about an hr east of london. dont know any thing at all about it.its beenin my barn for several yrs $50

If it says powerglide on the side of the case and will bolt up to my 4.3 for that kind of money I will take it....Never know, this might happen again!!! Send me a PM with your address and i could probally drive up this Sunday!
