It has been a couple of years since I have posted. The last thing I did was to take apart my motor for a rebuild. Now I have decided to go Ecotec instead and have a lot of vw stuff for sale.
I have a couple of engine cases but the best one is a 1.7 case . I have had it checked for line bore and vatted clean and it is ready to go. I am going to make a list.
2 or 3 cases one good one for sure a 1.7 cleaned and ready.
1.8 heads conmpleatly reworked new bigger 41x34 ss valves , new seats, guides , surfaced and ready
used 2.0 pistons and cylinders also 1.8 p&c
2.0 crank checked good & 1.7 crank good
New after market cam & lifters CB preformance #2202
New hi volum oil pump
New hi output alternator
compleat new gasket set
These parts still in box!
lots of parts from several pancake engines
Good set of Baby Dels carbs
Every thing to make a 2.0 on a 1.7 case with lots of extra parts.
What I want is a ecotech and conversion to bolt it to my bus trans.
So looking to trade or sell every thing.
I have over $1000 invested in new parts and the heads.
