Trying to save a couple of bucks and looking for a good used 2.3Ford-VW adapter/flywheel.

Still looking? My neighbor had one, I can't get ahold of him right now to see if he still has it. What's a fair price for it? I'll try to stop by later and see if he still has it.

Yup,
Still lookin.
The Samba listing is for a 2.0 adapter plate which I am told will work if you ream the dowel pin holes out and then I would still need a flywheel to fit a 2.3.
I would much rather buy a good used 2.3 set-up ready to go.

Is there an easy way to tell the difference? I still haven't been able to get ahold of the guy, but it might be for a 2.0 instead of a 2.3. He bought the buggy with the ford motor not running and just put a VW motor on. He might not even know which adapter plate it is, I don't know.
