Looking for used hi-torque starter for 091 6 rib tranny imi-104.
I'd use the jetta starter but it's for a van and I don't want to remove motor and bellhousing to mill it down.

Mine is a syncro and I would have to change the diff locking actuator and bracket, with that samba adapter and that is work I'm trying to avoid.
Thanks for the effort though.

Drews $99 to $129 is a stock style starter.
Drews hi-torques are imi brand.
My buggy, not the van, has an imi that's been on since 2003.
It did at one time start acting like the solenoid was going, but I took it apart, cleaned it and put the dielectric grease to it 5 yrs ago with no problems since.
Any imi I should find will get the same treatment before it is installed.
