DVS1: I have a pump mounting bracket that I will take $50 for, plus shipping. This bracket uses a '93 Mitsubishi Eclipse pump that you can order from any Autozone or Advance Auto Parts or usually find at any U-Pullit (I don't have an extra pump right now). I have this bracket/pump combo on my own buggy as well as my wife's autostick buggy. I cut these out on my CNC plasma cutter and weld them up. Let me know if you are interested and I will send pictures. Dale |

The unmounted bracket is the solid-mount version ($50). With this one the belt tension adjustment is the same as always, using the shims in the alternator pulley. The mounted bracket is the adjustable version ($75). The belt tension can still be adjusted with the shims, but it is way easier to loosen the slide bolts and use the allen head bolt. If anyone needs one of these PM me and I will get one ready. Obviously, the unmounted bracket can ship immediately. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks, Dale |

I like the adjustable one. But my problem is that I run a serpintine belt and would need a pump with a serpintine pulley. |

The single V-belt pulley is what comes with that model pump from the Eclipse. This is a fairly common item in the salvage yards and I have seen it on other cars such as Chrysler Laser and a few others. I have also seen the serpentine pulley on that pump but I am not sure what cars you might find it on. I would be concerned about alignment with the wider belt. I have always used the single V-belt model and the pattern I have worked out on the plasma cutter aligns perfectly. I could cut the pieces and you could weld them yourself to get the alignment right or send me a template of what you need and I can scan and cut. |
