ill tell you tip to try it involves the gland nut having to thick of a head on it and causing the clutch not to fully contact the flywheel all the way pull the motor pull the clutch out put a line on grease on the head of the flywheel bolt reinstall the clutch and pressure plate then take off the pressure plate and take the clutch out and see if it has made contact at all if so youll need a new flywheel bolt ............. when puting on the grease or silicon whatever you want dont put a lot maybe like an 1/8 inch thick of the material |

Sounds like it is out of adjustment, I am running a stage 2 KEP with a 4-puck on a 2500cc, 6-rib, no slippage there, let us know what you find. |

cant be the gland ut thats all scat so its gotta be rite... i think my slave was a lil out or adjustment.... i pushed the clucth in and releasd the peddle and it seen as if the return arm on the tranny wasnt goin all the way back so i adjust it out a lil and seems to look better and feels better in the drive way... soo im goona try this and see what happens... |

I know this ain't your problem but if someone has a grinding 1-3 and rev. gear, but not 4th your problem would be: Somekind of wrong grease melts out of the gland nut and glues the clutch to the flywheel.4th will not grind becase the ratio is pretty close to 1:1. To fix it , jack up a rear wheel off the ground and crank the motor with it in 1st or 2nd with clutch out.Let the wheel spin by itself at idle.Push the clutch and tell a friend to release the floor jack and BOOM.Rusty flywheels act the same way. And quit parking in the creek, then letting it sit up for a few weeks! |
