For all of you that missed the ride I wanted to post up some pics...

We ended up with about 9 rigs there. It was a really good time but could have used some rain... I did not brake my gears this time...lol. but i did have some other carnage.... I flopped it on it side and broke a rear spring as we were leaving the place on A4 trail at the top... we wenched up and out of there and got it on the trailer just fine... it tilt my rear diff almost straight up in the air but did not brake the u joint thank goodness. And now for the pics...

Are those stock Samurai springs with reverse shackles? And it looks like you are running stock axles as well. I use to run Sammy's for years and got out of it to get into buggies. I was having same problems with the springs breaking on me sometimes and I fixed the problem by putting on quarter-elliptical springs that were cut in half from a 1/2-ton ford pick-up, a panhard bar in the rear and ran coil springs with a panhard bar in the front and made a great deal of difference in the ride and the handling, all of this has cost me only 150 bucks and even gained awesome wheel travel (about 12" more) and I was running 33" boggers then and had to install bumpstops in the front and rear to keep the tires from going up under the fenders. I have many tips and tricks for your sammy in order to help you and your ride out, PM me if you have any questions. Cool looking Sammy you got there! 8)
