can anyone tell me why when i drive forward my camber goes bad positive and when i back it goes bad negative? I have some worn parts but ive had worn parts before. Thanks for any help.

Need a little more info. Are you talking about front or back camber? If so, do you mean your camber changes when you go change direction (Going forward and then going backward) |

Its the front camber and yes if you back up you can physicaly see the tires lean in and when you drive forward you can watch them lean out at the top and the toe changes also. Its a dead stock link pin with adjusters installed and rack n pinion steering gear. this started last year when i hit a tree and bent my beam and ruined my left hand arms and spindle. I found a used beam,some used arms and a spindle. I,ve been adjusting and changing toe,camber replaced king pin bushings,etc. |

Make sure you have them link pins REAL good and tight, and make sure they're in so that when you tighten the bolt at the end of the arm, it draws the link pin in instead of out. If all this is okay, you probably just have some wore out link pins. Push on the top of your tire and try to wiggle it back and forth, if it has a bunch of wobble to it, I'd say you have some wore out components. -Dakotah/koko |

if you get new link pins, get the ones you can put a nut on the end. Then you throw away the nut that came with it and get yourself 2 jam nuts for each. Snug them up and bye, bye sloppy front end (as long as the bushings are ok) |

I would agree with everyone. Your link pins are either very loose or completely worn out. They are not too difficult to replace but you will probably need to have access to a press for the bushings. |
