I want the longer arms, but I need to relocate my power steering box to the middle and get shocks and mounts made before they can go on. One step at a time and keep it driveable. |

Curious why you did not go with 3/4" Hiem joints on the outer end of the tie rod? When you get longer arms you will need them. |

Part cost of good heims as well as I wasnt sure if they would fit on the stock VW pitman arm. |

Looks good. Now you can run 33x9.50 front tires1 Going from 30" to 33" tires is like adding another inch or two to your trailing arms. |

I run International on my Rack and Hiems on the outer ends of the tie rods. The inners dont see as much angle as the outers do. You could have done it similar. nitro_mudder wrote: Part cost of good heims as well as I wasnt sure if they would fit on the stock VW pitman arm.

I've got a set of used Tweeds 4" longer arms thet I'll part with! Nothing wrong with them to my knowledge. I was going to save then for the woodsbuggy, till i came across a set of woods arms. |

Yes it needs new bearings for the larger spindles. They came with the setup, if ordered that way. The bearings in the pic above are the new ones. |
