i've been thinking about what i can do to make my weight set a little better on the buggy. Right now its all stock. My plans are for a watercooled swap, air bags, and some frame work on the rear cage. i'm only 92" now and want to transfer my weight foward to keep off the back wheels, although i do like it. Thanks in advance dave |

Aftermarket 2 X 3 arms can be had for less money than it would take to make the Jig and the labor involved and still end up with sheet metal arms. Food for thought. |

You dont know how bad i would want to just go and buy arms, but the w/c swap comes before that. haha. I have just about everything to build the arms and make the jig, just need to do the geometry for it and set it up. I just wanted to see how people are holding the arm for the jig |

here are pics of my homemade 3.5 X 4.5 arms.I did not use a jig ,,I took 2 sets of stock arms and grafted them together, This is a rugged set of arms, I got several years out of them, since I went to babychains I dont need them anymore,,,they are for sale ![]()

Believe me I do understand. Over the years I have changed my thought process some in that If it can be bought for less than the material and labor required to build it then buy it. That way I can focus my time on things that will require me to build. There is only so much spare time to devote to the toys. frankenbuggy06 wrote: Odyknuck wrote: Aftermarket 2 X 3 arms can be had for less money than it would take to make the Jig and the labor involved and still end up with sheet metal arms.
