Post subject:  Extended ball joint arms...

I know some of you guys are building your own extended KP arms, but is anyone building their own extended balljoint arms? I'd like to keep my BJ front end, but want longer arms. I was thinking about building a jig and making a set... any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did it with bus ball joint arms,,I am having a little trouble bending them,,I think I may have made mine too long,,they are 2x3's and I dropped the spindle a couple inches too. I used 1/4 wall tubing to extend them.

Thanks Marty. I was thinking about doing 1x2's, isn't that what the guys down in kentucky are doing with KP? 1 longer and 2 wider or vice versa? Thank you.

It's on my "to-do" list for this winter. However it's about third so it might not happen.
Afterburnt made a jig for kp extended arms, I was planing on doing the same for ball joint. I was thinking 1" out and 2" or 3" back.
I'm shure if Afterburnt helps with the design, it will be indestructible.
