What axles do I need to bus to bus w/ stock trailing arms. I know i need Thing stubs. Ive tried sway-away 15 5/8 w/ long splines going bus to car but axles were to short, no free play between cvs. I currently use bus inner cv w/ stock car axles no clip and car outer cvs w/ clip. I was sideways on a hill, and somehow axle pulled from bus cv.I was going to have bus cv cage bored out enough to fit clip in like Kyle posted last year. Any suggestion?

bus to bus with stock arms you really need to do what was in the picture. i never broke a single joint that way. just take the centers to a local machine shop for 20.00 they can lathe them out real quick and you will be set. just whatever you do make sure you have 1/4 play in the axles with them flat.

you can get other porsche axles and stuff i believe but just cutting those down is so much cheaper and simple :)

i run porsche 924 axles -- bus to bus. I think thing axles are the same length -- wait for a second opinion on that to be sure
