Getting ready to weld some more roof supports on my buggy. Was wondering what the best way to touch up the powdercoat. Can the new pieces be powdercoated or do I just rattlecan them? Thanks. |

not sure but powder coating "cures" out at 400=- degrees you could recot it anh heat the ares with a heat gun or infared spot heater? |

I would think the easiest way is either find paint in a rattle can that is close enough or have a quart or pint mixed that matches. If you have it mixed you will always have touch-up paint if you need it. If you use catelized paint its about as strong as powedercoat anyway. |

Powder coat can be touched up using heat lamps, works pretty well. I chose black because I KNEW I was going to need to alter, add or repair stuff. Rattle can works just fine for me. |
