Why are new JAZ seats $100 or so cheaper than new Kirkey's on Ebay stores? The prices were for ' without covers' for each. Thinkin I could gain 3-4" of headroom by going to one vs my suspension seat. Helmet takes up couple inches above my head, wasnt planning for needing that room when I had the chassis built. Not to mention putting the weight of my fat azzz lower in the buggy! I know you get what you pay for, but any one know the big differences in the design and quality between the two? Thanks, Larry |

Cool. I thought maybe the Jaz would need more support or something. I dont give a damn how it looks, as long as its light, dont fall apart and its reasonably comfortable. Larry |

I have a Kirkry. I love it. I know it is not as comfy as a suspension seat but it does not feel bad. If you get one put a brace on the back. I put mine right between my shoulder blades. I did not have one and purplemoron rearended me pretty hard. My seat did flex. I have the drag racing seat. It is much easier to get in and out of than a dirt track seat. Also if you get a Kirkey ask for the cloth seat cover. |

Thanks for the info. Why cloth? Doesnt it soak up water worse than vinyl while you are riding? I dont like mud anymore than you, the only thing worse than a mudhole is a wet seat! Larry |

Cloth was just more comfortable. When I replaced it I bought Nylon and it is just not as nice. Both of them have a thick foam pad and that takes the moisture away. |

I am wanting to get lower on the floor also so this is one of my winter projects. Larry did you ever buy any? Looks like the dragstrip model like Dean suggested is the way to go. Just looking for feedback before I buy a couple of these. Thanks |
