Have any of you guy ever ran a set of Racerunner 2.0 sway away air shocks ? I just bought some they support 1000 lb per skock . The fox 2.0 says 550 lb per shock ...  This shock looks really nice any body else running these any thing i should know good or bad ?

The Fox says 550lb per shock because if you're them at anything above that they get insanely hot and lose damping control, you also get masses of seal wear from the pressure. The same thing is going to happen with the Racerunner units, given the same size and config, the outright numbers are pretty meaningless bar the max pressure the damper can run at. |

I have racerunner on my buggy I could not get them dial in right played with oil and air I would get the right ride on it on ground heigh I get the height it would ride like a old ford truck I'm going to coilovers Posted using the WoodsBuggy Mobile App |

they do real well. Air shocks are totally different to set up. You want the shock to be stiff when it is just sitting there. When you drive it everything will move easy and the ride is nice. I don't notice the roll side to side. PM me if you need any help our have any questions. I have a nitrogen tank. Thanks Dirtdobber. |

Racbuggy runs the racerunner air shocks on his woods car . Got them at drews they been good so far put them on the race car in 2009. Trialrider have you seen Frank. If so have him call me sometime |

I have the same shocks on the front of my woodsbuggy. They do work better than the fox air shocks as far as weight capacity. the shafts are also bigger than fox. I have nothing to complian about with them. |

That bigger shaft reduces the damping available though, as it reduces the oil traveling across the piston, which is why the Foxes are only as large as needed to support the max weight before the damping starts to fade from the heat. If you're running them on a heavy buggy just watch the damper temperatures is all. Depends how hard you're running too I suppose. |

As far as riding goes I'm not doing a lot of jumping or anything but like to do a lot of hill climbing if possible also do a lot of trail riding but we have Rhode with a lot of people I think we ride as hard as anybody out there. Of course depends on how many beers got drank and how much apple pie got made .... Lol |
