A friend of mine is thinking about running ORI struts and I was wondering if anyone has ever used them. After reading about them, they appear to stop body roll, have in internal bump stop and you do not need a limiting strap. They look really cool but they are expensive.. |

Was just talking to the guy that runs that red tree tremor 2 4x4 buggy at rush yesterday about them. He said that when he's on a hill sideways that they hold there position and don't try and unload on the weak side and body roll won't turn you over.I could maybe see on a big heavy buggy they might be better in that situation but for a hill climb buggy that's pretty light anyways I'd stick to the fox air shocks IMO. There's a few guys run them over here as it's a nice setup to be able to just bolt one damper on without having to mess around with ARB's and heave springs, etc. They seem to like them, not cheap though. |
