I am thinking of going with larger tires. These still bite really good but I may go with 35" Boggers. If anyones in the market these 33" may be for sale.Image

Five rollovers in the last two years have taken a toll on my front end. I'm going to tear the beam and bumper off and start over.Image

The tree bars are bent and not wide enough to cover the 14" wide bogger. I need to fix that also.Image

Removed the roof. It is all beatup from rollovers. I'll hang it on the wall to remember the fun we had.

gotta love fixing stuff over the winter. I recommend the 35" bogger's, that's what most of us run, and 35" paddles for Turkey Bay.

Well now that I am back from The SCORE race I have lots of ideas for changes to my buggy. Now where to start?

I have decided to move my fuel cell to the front. Mainly to get the fuel away from the engine, also lower center of gravity so on... Anyway my brakes were taking up to much room so this is how I decided to make more room upfront. I turned the pedal upside down and backwards, then welded a tab on top to operate the rod. Now I have to get my floor back in to position them.

I tacked the pedals in last night. The biggest problem now is that I can't get them low enough to clear the hood.

So I cut a hole in my vintage HiJumper hood. Then I fabbed a box out of very thin aluminium. Fastened it to the hood then covered it with glass. Here it is after two layers of glass.

Here it is from the side. It was nice sanding the flames off this morning. I was really tired of them. This year it's going to have woodsbuggy.com stickers instead.

Been busy on the buggy this weekend heres some pic's. My brother and I were checking the tortion pockets, and he noticed they were a mess. So I changed them.

Replaced the underbars and lengthened the rear of the frame. There was only about an inch of space before the frame hit the header before. Also my front bumper was shot. I can't show the rear end yet because its not finished. But I am rather proud of it. Anyway heres the new bumper. I will add skid plate and lights.

Looking good! I like the alignment jig for getting the pivots located on the torsion right. Good looking bumper, you won't know what to do with everything straight and shiny.

No Dave I won't have to run away. Actually I think it will be a blast climbing something stupid steep in the dark.
Thanks for the kudos on the bumper Fla. Dave and I came up with it. Can't wait to get lights and a skid plate on it.
