I've been looking at different airshocks to replace the 2.0 Fox that I have on the rear of my buggy now. I love the shocks but my back end is just too heavy for the 2.0 and aggressive riding. It wants to squat really bad just under hard acceleration and although it rides really soft, it would bottom out too easily in the back. I'd like to upgrade to the 2.5's. Fox wants around $385 a shock and Radflo is around $320. That's a substantial cost difference, but I'm not too familiar with Radflo. Anyone ever tried them or know someone that has? Opinions on them? |

Forty, I get Fox shocks from Kartek at racer price give me the specs and I will see what I can get them for. I am ordering some 10" 2.0 coil overs for my front suspension this week need some drop spindles as well for some additional ground clearance. I can have them shipped to you if the price works. |

Sounds great from all recommendations. I'll look into Profender too. $299 for Profender 2.5 is a pretty good deal right out of the gate. If they offer a special soon I may have to go for that. Especially if I could sell my 2.0 Fox to cover half the cost or better. |

Remember, you get what you pay for. You didn't hesitate to buy the Fox's to start with because you KNOW they will last. When you second guess other products, you get short changed. The price difference between Fox and the others buys a lot of piece of mind. My good friend Roy always says............... "Buy the best and cry once" |

I bought the Fox blind too. I got them used off pirate4x4 years ago. I do agree about buying quality. I'll research everything first. I'm always on the lookout for used too. |

The Fox 2.0's that I have on the back are actually 16". The shocks from 2.0 to 2.5 are not the same dimensions. The 16" are much bigger than I need and the 2.5 14" matches the 16" 2.0 specs pretty closely aside from the weight they can support. I would be interested in selling the 16" shocks, but not until I find the money for the replacements. I will definitely post them up when that time comes. |

Forty, My sales guy was out till tomorrow, I haven't forgot about you. I have a question? would you go with air shocks on a front end in lieu of coil over?  This is the car I am converting to coil over or air shocks. |

I have never had coil overs. I will say the air shocks are very easy to adjust. I haven't gotten into all the valving or shims, but the nitrogen is really easy for ride height. My shocks are "standard" valving, 60/40, and I set the front to 300# nitrogen. It rides very soft and smooth. For the back I would say either a 2.5 or coilovers. The front is usually light enough that the airshocks seem to make it ride like glass. They save a ton of money too over buying multiple springs for coilovers. |

Forty, My racer price for 2.5 Fox air shock 16" travel are $340.00 each. I am getting set up as a distributer by the first of the year and that will save another $30.00 off. Not a whole lot but pays shipping cost. Let me know if you are interested. I will be putting in an order the first week in January for my 2.0 - 14" travel front air shocks. I also need to find a set of Denman V grip or Firestone's and wide five wheels. |

That's not a bad price. I will keep it on the short list. I need to get this thing running reliably first and then start tuning the rest of the car. I really need the bigger shocks though and like the idea of Fox for the quality and support they have. Thanks Red. |

Forty, Have you checked all of your grounds on the ECU harness? Mine was acting up and it turned out that I had a dirty ground causing faulty reading. Since the Alternator is charging it may be a dirty ground. Just a thought. |
