Ok I have a set of home made 3x3 trailing arms that came with a buggy I bought a while back. They weren't on the buggy at the time and it is still in project status so I never really looked them over very good. Well I pulled them out the other day to put them on the wife's buggy and noticed several things that I don't like, such as broken bolts, ugly welds, and poor shock mounts. I guess I said all of that to ask would it be worth the hassle to cut out the old rear wheel bearing housings and install new ones? I know the shock mounts are no big deal so if were just that I wouldn't be worried about it. I know I can get a new bolt in bearing housings or just weld another one in place of the old ones. |

well I've tried everything to remove the bolts but they are not moving. Also on one of the carriers the bolt hole has a large crack that runs the length of the threads, I think I left this out. |
