I use stub axles from http://www.precisionalloy.com/ They start with stock stub axles cut the type 1 CV bell off and weld a 930 CV bell in it's place. The original German axles are made out of really good material, better than what you'll find in any aftermarket stub axle. They are done right and at a reasonable price.

Thanks Mike, I value your opinion. As they don't have a price on thier site, and as it'll cost me £££ to call them from the UK do you know the approximate cost?

my buddy help me take a car stub axle and grind the bell down flat we got a broke bus joint and offset the holes from the car tac welded in place and drill new holes and treaded them and when you put them in and install the joint put nuts on back of bolts they work pretty good when your out riding and break a joint you can use car or bus to get back home i have run mine in the woods for 7 years with no problem

I will tell you to stay away from EMPI as they are junk. I have bent one and snapped two. I am sure the weight and HP of my car did not help however just sayin!
