NewB to the forum with a quick question. You guys that stretch your own trailing arms, do you use a specific arm or do you just use what you have? Are there different ones? Some better that others? BTW I've got the king pin front end. Wanting to go 1 x 3 or so. Thanks |

Blindchickenracing is a good source of info,,, http://blindchickenracing.com/How_to/2x ... ntarms.htm I used his ideas to build some ball joint bus arms,,,problem is the tube going into the beam is weak,,,after reinforcing this weak link I lost my torsion in front and now need to add spring to my front with coilovers or airbags or something,,,,,good luck |

Thanks for the response Firebug. I've found a few on here that are built using heavy wall pipe or square tubing. I'm just wondering if a certain one (bus or bug) of the stock arms would be better for this or just grab one and start cutting. I guess the worst that can happen is I'll have to replace it. Thanks again |
