I need new tie rod ends, and im not sure how to go about getting them. This goes for all parts in the front end. Where do most of these come from? and what do i ask for when trying to get new ones. |

 where the torsion arms connect on the top and bottom its is very loose. what is the peice called that they connect to? is that the kingpin |

The larger vertical pin is the kingpin. The two horizontal ones are called linkpins. They all ride in press in bushings that need to be reamed to the correct I.D. after they are pressed in. Difficult to do correctly even with the right equipment. And they are expensive to mess up trying to learn how. Dont get the chinese bushing/pin kits either. They are junk. Safest bet to get a quality job is call one of the advertisers on here and tell them you want the good ones , and take off your spindles and carry them to a reputable shop/machinist who is familiar with doing them for installation. If they are put in too loose they will be sloppy again after one ride. But, unless you street ride, I'd leave it alone. A sloppy front end dont hurt nuthin in the woods

Thanks for the rundown! Its pretty sloppy to the point that I'm worried about it actually breaking off. The link pins are the most noticeable the kingpin doesn't even seem to be bad. I'm sticking to the woods but i eventually might try to get it done. we'll see how she feels behind the wheel. Its a shame that its not something you can do on your own. |

if the link pins are loose make sure they have been tightened properly they are on a cam and might be not tight . |

sounds like the bushings/bearings in the beam are wore out too? |

The emphi link pin and king pins on dans are like 100bucks for both . anyone have an idea what you think it will cost to install. Jeff by the beam you mean where the link pins fit in? |
