I've always heard full circle is not necessary until you get up to 90 mm stroke due to flexing between main and rod journals...or somestuff. I know Gene Berg thought fullcircle was crap. http://www.geneberg.com/cat.php?cPath=4_80. But this was a long time ago, with different metallurgy. Besides I dont think ol' Gene ( may he R. I. P.) spent much time in the woods either. Most 90 stroke motors I see are full circle, and they take some serious reaming for many years. http://www.woodsbuggy.com/index.php?opt ... cle#p74517 |

Bob at DeMello cranks said when he was developing the full circle crank, Lloyd Mosher (Little Giant Killer) found the full circle crank made more power. Using a T-4 center main stiffens the crank even more. |
