hey kyle how is that vz15 in that 2332????????/ i got one in my 1915 and its great except for down low like below 2000 rpms but after that it runs like a raped ape but the lightened flywheel may hurt the bottom end lugging anyways i was trying to decide between the vz15 or w110 for my 2332 im not sure what cam is in it but other than the crank and rods i know its got cb 044 heads stock rocker arms 44 idf webers lightened flywheel and tons of compression its got a lot of bottom end fair midrange and no rpm or topend :?: .......its enough to blow up 5 stock 3 ribs with 35 boggers  but u can never have too much  especialy if i ever get a 6 rib put together

I like the FK-8 and 1:4 for a 2332cc engine personally.
VZ series cams are a bit hard on lifter bores IMHO.

Yes they are hard on em but they run to good. Maybe not S/F killer top but I can lug around the woods in 2nd all day. I prefer low power, 042 heads, vz15, shorter 5.6 H-beam rod, and around 13:1 compression. I still run a 7200 chip, but I am me to haha, and I can hit it. I only run that for wheel speed there is no more power after 5800-6000 but your wheel speed will still increase.

Your 35's are killing those trans...not the motor haha

O and you will make up that >2000rpm crap when you goto a bigger stroke.

Around here we use FK cams in John Deere 4020 tractors and pull up tree stumps with them.......

I like ratio rocker compatible cams like the FK becasue the lifters/pushrods/valvetrain doesn't move as much to get the same results as a non ratio rocker cam like the VZ series.

You will get as many opinions on cams as there are members of these forums.
Do your research, decide on your application and desired results.
Make your decision on that.

W125 or W130 would make a nice cam for your combo.

2 Stroke wooo! I like to make sure I can hear em haha. That stump-pulling you speak of gary thats what I like, even though it will still wring out on the top when I am on the path I can cruise 2nd and never touch the gas pedal it will hump along. Makes drinking beer a TON easier hahaha

only thing about ratio rockers is im not too good with all that geometry and pushrod length stuff that goes along with them would like to stick with something that uses stock length pushrods

i now 35s are hard on trannys but a lot of places we ride has been rutted out by 4x4's so i need the extra ground clearance plus they jump up on ledges a lot easier......besides ive broke 3 trannys with 33 boggers and the 1915

the 2332 has an 84 crank but not sure about rod length....... the guy i got it from said he couldnt remember ...........only new that it was pretty high on compression an told me to run atleast some kind of high octane race gas that he allways ran 108 or 110 octane but that anthing 104+ should be ok

You will have to set your pushrod length on any strocker motor to get your geometry right.

didnt know you had to do that with a stock as41 case and no shims or spacers anywherein the case or under the jugs or heads its even got stock rockers and adjusters with lash caps :?:

Lash caps change the Geometry also. They essentially make the valves stick up farther out of the head. Similar to what happens when you do a valve job that would also require possiably redoing the geometry.

would any of this be causing my lack of rpm and topend power or is it just the cam or maybe the high compression
also would it be better to run swivle feet adjusters instead of the lash caps :?: :?

Actually the 84mm crank is a long stroke this will put the power into torque if you looking for more power at a lower rpm than a 110 would be the way to go a vz 15 isa torque cam for a medium engine With the 84 mm stroke it should have tons of torque any way the way i would do this is definetly lower the compression to around 9.0 install a 110 cam and you will see that it will scream with all the low end torque and mid range power than one needs. For off roading.
