Im running new oil line and cooler and having trouble finding 1/2 fittings for my line to slide on all I can find is 3/8 is tyat to small or anyone run that and where do you buy your fittings here is what im working with this one needs to go from 1/4 to 1/2 i came up with the fitting in pic but to wide to do 2 side by side  and here in the front of case it needs to be 3/8 to 1/2

MSCdirect will ship in a day er 2. And get one of their catalogs from their office on 34th street between Napa and Small Fry Autoparts. 1800-645-7270. Of coarse Napa has the brass fittings and so does Auto Zone in little packages hanging on a little spin around rack. But I sure love msc's incredible volume of hardware. Lowes is good, but, stay away from natural gas fittings at Lowes. They have a different pitch on their threads for some kinda safety don't mix and match something or another. Go w/c and ya don't need a cooler! lol AND DO NOT let any Teflon tape get in your passages! I've never used that brush on type seal, maybe it's better. |

IMO I would use the 3/8 looks like your fittings on your cooler and engine block are 3/8 so 1/2 inch would be a waste, oil is going to be restricted to the 3/8 fitting |

You should always maintain no smaller than 3/8" ID throughout your entire oil system. 3/8" hose barbs are bad because the barb itself is sized to fit into a 3/8" id hose, therefore the actual hole in the fitting is much smaller. If your going to run hose barb fittings, what you need is a 3/8 male NPT to 1/2" male hose barb, then run 1/2" hose. Lowes or any big hardware store should have them. Different brand fittings can vary in finished size, so just make sure that a 3/8" drill bit will pass through the entire fitting; drill it out if you have to. A better alternative would be to go with AN fittings and smooth radius hose ends, but that gets pricey really quick. |

The summit brand push lock hose worked great for me.. and it isn't to pricey Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk |

push lock hose is a good hose, but if you use it, you need to use the push lock barbed fittings. when you put the two together, you dont need hose clamps and it will not come apart, Ive been using them for years. You can buy the push locks almost anywhere, Summit, Jegs, Speedway Motors. I usually get my stuff from Master Car. Even your local hydrolic shop will have the push lock hose. You should stay with the 1/2 inch hose for oil lines. the hose and the fittings doesnt cost a whole lot of money, but i do know I bought alot of real nice fittings from summit with AN ends on it. Remember if you put the push lock hose on a push lock barb fitting, the only way to get them apart is to cut them. That is why all of my oil lines that i used it on, I matched them up with AN fittings so I can take them apart. |

I used the 1/2" push lock hose and fittings for my oil lines. Nice stuff and somewhat affordable. |

jesse let me know exactly what you're looking for. i've probably got it all. i bought probably 250$ in hydrolic hoses and fittings last year that i didn't use on mine. |

Got the oil cooler resolved just had it drilled and taped for the right size |
