Post subject:  small alternator pully

A few years ago, I saw a post about some guys selling small aluminum alternator pulleys. I called and talked to him, but never acted on it. I can't find the post and I lost the guys number. If anyone knows who sells these small pulleys, let me know. Thanks, I appreciate it.

I got one on my buggy also and they work ....helps keep the motor cool for sure with a 5-1/4 " pully on the bottom it's a must to have a smaller pully on the alt . Just to keep the air moving .

I called up Drew's this morning, and ordered one. I told him that last night, I was looking through a bunch of old posts on Woodsbuggy and found one where back in 2012, he posted this pulley. and for a member of Woodbuggy, we get free shipping. He kinda laughed and said "wow, that was a long time ago." He still honored it. :D

Here's the post that Drew's made in 2012

We have the "dry sump alt pulley" that is made of aluminum and hard anodized so wear is not a factor and does speed the alt/fan up for better cooling/battery charging....uses factory shims to adjust belt. You will see many of these on the buggies that ride D & K often and never have any problems. They cost $84.95 each and I would ship at no charge to woodsbuggy.com members! Thanks 513-868-9543
