If I run a full flow oil pump and run the feed line out the fitting on the pump cover, to the in on the remote oil filter, then to the oil cooler, can i run the line from the cooler to the return line from the dog house cooler? I have a high flow dog house that doen't allow for the original oil cooler. So rite now both the feed line and the return line come from where the dog house cooler used to be. I know it sounds confusing but I cant think of a better way to explain it lol. I want to full flow the engine without drilling the block for the return line. It might not be better then the way I have it now thats why im asking. Thanks

You can buy a pump cover with a out and a return and just leave you cooler the way it is. Are you running a fan on the cooler? I myself prefer a stock type 4 oil cooler.

You can buy a return adapter. Looks like it replaces one of the spring and pistons in the bottom of the case.

Hpfreak , I've seen that to but worried about hitting it on rear cage. But that's why we have dummy light I guess.

Why full flow anyway. Snag that line and all the oil is out

The idea is to filter and cool the volume of oil in the crank case. Only one better arrangement ant that is to dry sump which eliminates drag from the crank going through the oil.

If care is taken to secure and route the oil lines you will not have to worry about losing an oil line. With out a skid plate you run the risk of breaking the block on a rock which will also dump all your oil.

My comes out of the stock oil cooler spot to a filter then to the cooler and back to the motor

Using the stock oil supply and return ports for the stock oil cooler does cool the oil but the volume of oil is greatly reduced so it doesn't cool as well as a full flow set up.

Do yourself a favor and full flow the block. It can be done with the engine together. Its the only way to filter and cool 100% of the oil 100% of the time. I would also put a stock doghouse cooler back on it.

Ok that's what I will do. Any tricks to keep the drill and tap shavings from going inside the engine?

You can put grease on drill bit and tap and it catches the shavings.
