Post subject:  good plug wires?

had my coil wire pop off on me over the weekend. had to use a bread tie to make it stay on (didnt bring any zip ties). I have brand new bosch plug wires and the boots dont fit tight on the coil or the disributor and the wires seem kinda hard to me. I bought them from advanced so i may have got some that were sitting on the shelf for years. can anyone suggest something better?

Aren't those wires lifetime warranty? They use to be from Auto zone.

You can definitely use clear rtv been doing that on derby cars for years.. nothing like a good hit and a plug wire pop off
