Post subject:  What kind of carb would you sugest?

i am running a 1641 thinking about replacing the carb that i have on it? if you where to buy one which one would you buy?
mine is bogging down on th bottom end , but once its up to speed its ok.
its currently it has a single 2 barrel webber.

I would put dual 34 ict's on it .

I would just run a good single carb since you have a 1641. I don't really see the need of adjusting on two carbs when one good carb will do the job. A good Weber or Dellorto would be my choice. The carb is a area where I wouldn't go cheap. Buy once,Cry once!! JMO! 8)

i would just have the weber you already have rebuilt.. sounds like you either have a jet clogged or the accelerator pump is going bad.. good be a clogged filter. a single weber or dellorto with good filters and tuned correctly is hard to beat 8)
