Look for vacuum leaks with some brake clean or WD 40. You may also want check that the needle and seat is not stuck open. You can tap on the top of the carb not the air cleaner to see if that fixes it.

Is the fuel pressure to high for those carbs. Try running a fuel line so they are gravity fed without a fuel pump. Just for testing of course.

do you have a pressure regulator after the pump and before the carbs? if not thats half or better of the problem!

Look down the carbs with the engine running to see if there is fuel dripping onto the butterflies. Sounds like the floats may need to be adjusted.

IT AIN'T YOUR PROBLEM , BUT I JUST HAD TO CHIME IN. Do those new heads call for longer threaded spark plugs, and maybe a hotter plug and gapped not for a granny's beetle but what ever they call for?And did ya start out with known good wires? All that missing just leaves raw fuel behind. Raw fuel adds up to make more missing. If you have a bad miss in your buggy, make her get out! And are you using racing fuel with your new CR:

You said dual solex's at the beginning. then its a 44 weber? either way you need to look down in them to see if it is dripping any fuel while running. have you ever adjusted the floats?

Post subject:  Re: OVER LOADING HELP!!!!

I've changed wires out, plugs ,checked all my rockers , brake clean around heads intake everywhere you can think of air getting in , but when I took the left side off the inside (bore) is cracked all the way down the side! Think that maybe my problem!

Post subject:  Re: OVER LOADING HELP!!!!

What is cracked? The Carb?

Author:  jackson.ryan29 [ Thu Feb 21, 2013 1:12 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: OVER LOADING HELP!!!!

on the inside, if your looking down throw them on the left side on one of them its cracked clear down the side from top to bottom! so back to a single for me!!
