Bought a motor and put the heads on it and it pumps oil but the push rods aren't moving!!!!! Any ideas guys???

This should be an obviously visible problem,but need more info. How do you know the motor is pumping oil? What size motor,etc.

cam gear might be broke .take out oil pump and look see if cam gear is moving .if so and it should be if oiling cam is broke?

cam has to turn to have oil pressure. at least the end of it that bolts to gear. sounds like maybe cam is broke. idk but whatever it is its not good tear it apart!!! :roll:

poor oiling or bad cam bearing .rebuild it and be done with it.
