I don't have time to build an engine for my buggy because of working hours and also a little girl. I knew this a while back and started a fruit jar savings account to be able to buy a turn key vw motor by this spring. Can yall give me some input as to who my best choice is for a well built, no bull shit, turn key, with warranty? Nothing fancy or high HP, just a very dependable 1641 or so. Strickly offroad. Thanks, and please don't hold back if youve had a shitty experiance with a builder, i need to know. |

alot of people has them,tim from southern buggies can build anuything to your specs,roy rogers in memphis had some stock motors there,but if u tell a dealer ur putting on a buggy u might not get a warranty,,,a stock beetle u probaly would,,tim stands behind his work,call him tell him how much money u wanna spend and u might get u a good 1915,cost the same to build as a stock 1600 |
