i have a buddy thats tryin to put a buggy together he has a single port motor, i gave him a set of dual port heads can he run them on his single port engine?

No problem. He will just need dual port end castings and manifold.

my buddy has a single port he wants to get rid of. i called and left you a message last night. it was running when he took it out to go to a bigger engine. check your messages and give me a call. its for sale or trade maybe for those v tread tires you have. pm me or call after 4:30 tomorrow.

You gotta change a few cylinder head studs out.I think the 4 on the top.

Yup.
The pair on the top in the center has to be changed or shortened.

SP carb is smaller too.
Need the 34 PICT that comes on the DP or an adapter to use the 30 that comes on the SP.
Head tins are different.

This is provided his SP engine is a 1500/1600.
1200 and 1300 engines look very similar.
